The Watchdog Wire promoted Don Carrington’s recent report on the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ decision to shut down a dubious wind power scheme involving the state aquarium. NCPoliticalNews.com and N.C. Senate Republicans’ daily press email promoted Carolina Journal Associate Editor Barry Smith‘s article on possible regulation of ride-sharing services in North Carolina. NCPoliticalNews.com also picked up Associate Editor Michael Lowrey‘s article on a court case involving local zoning violations. The N.C. Spin website and Senate GOP cited Associate Editor Dan Way‘s article on state lawmakers’ ongoing concerns about Medicaid expansion.

The Lumberton Robesonian published Becki Gray’s column on so-called “women’s issues.” A News & Observer article on successful charter school founder Baker Mitchell mentioned his membership on the John Locke Foundation board of directors. The Heritage Foundation’s “Insider Online” promoted this week’s JLF Shaftesbury Society luncheon speech on state certificate-of-need restrictions.
