Water woes continue

The John Locke Foundation’s free market-based defense of variable water pricing continued to draw attention as North Carolina spent another week in drought conditions. Karen Palasek, director of educational and academic programs, participated in a discussion on water restrictions for WRAL Television’s “Headline Saturday” program. Fiscal policy analyst Joseph Coletti shared the value of water pricing with two radio audiences: WPTF-AM’s morning-drive program and State Government Radio.
