Unabated, Private Property Rights Continue Their Prominence

Most likely one of the three “hot button issues” for this election season (make sure you attend the upcoming Headliner Luncheon discussing this very issue), private property rights continue to be trumpeted by JLF‘s Daren Bakst. His Spotlight paper on the vagueness of NC’s urban redevelopment law, mentioned in Carolina Beach’s Island Gazette, is an extension of a later Spotlight
recommending that NC amend the state constitution to ensure private
property rights.  Despite the recommendation, as the Myrtle Beach Sun News reports, a constitutional amendment is unlikely.
