U.S. Senate Democrats target JLF in climate probe

posted on

The John Locke Foundation is the only state-based public policy group included in a list of 107 organizations targeted for intimidation by three Democratic U.S. senators. A letter from those senators called on JLF and the other groups to turn over 10 years of information linked to work on global warming and other climate-related issues.

President and CEO Kory Swanson discussed the letter with Watchdog.org. The Beaufort Observer highlighted the controversy, and Carolina Journal Managing Editor Rick Henderson will discuss the letter and other recent CJ news items during a conversation this afternoon with Bill LuMaye on Talk Radio WPTF.
