The recent transit strike in New York has given new credence to George Leef’s recent book on the Right to Work Movement, Free Choice for Workers.
With the Martinez’s as stand-in hosts for the Bill LaMuye show this
past week, Leef talked about the declining unionization of America
and the follies of the N.Y. transit strike. In an Institute Brief
published by the Public Interest Institute at Iowa Wesleyan College,
Leef stated that “The root of the problem is that unionism is based on
coercion rather than consent.”
