Spreading health-care facts across North Carolina

Viewers of WGHP Television’s nightly news had a chance this week to watch John Locke Foundation Vice President for Outreach Becki Gray and Fiscal and Health Care Policy Analyst Joseph Coletti explain why consumer-driven health care represents a better model for health-care reform than the ideas circulating now throughout Washington, D.C. Gray, Coletti, and Executive Vice President Kory Swanson delivered more detailed information during an in-person presentation Thursday to small business owners titled “Small Business in Peril: How Health Care Reform Will Make or Break Your Business.” Coletti addressed health-care reform in a solo presentation Tuesday to Campbell University’s Adam Smith Club. Meanwhile, JLF President John Hood continued to participate in the national health-care debate with posts to National Review Online’s “Critical Condition” blog, including this item on faulty cost estimates linked to the so-called Baucus plan in the U.S. Senate. Hood also reacted to health-care predictions from former Bush adviser Karl Rove.
