Speaking of education

The John Locke Foundation’s Education Policy Analyst, Terry Stoops, has concerns about the state education establishment’s misplaced priorities in addressing the school dropout crisis. Stoops highlighted those concerns in a recent column on Graduation Awareness Week, published recently in the Leland Tribune. The Wilson Daily Times and Huntersville Herald also recently published articles linked to Stoops’ rankings of North Carolina public school districts on the basis of “parent-friendliness.” Meanwhile, Fiscal Policy Analyst Joseph Coletti granted an interview to Liberty Tube TV about the value of charter schools and school choice.
