The News & Observer‘s “Under the Dome” column took note of John Locke Foundation Director of Regulatory Studies Jon Sanders‘ latest research report. Sanders calls for repeal of North Carolina’s certificate-of-need law. NCPoliticalNews.com promoted the report, and the Kernersville News published Sanders’ recent column on ending North Carolina film incentives.

NCPoliticalNews.com highlighted Roy Cordato’s report on energy subsidies and penalties, along with Director of Research and Education Studies Terry Stoops‘ research newsletter on the troubled PowerSchool data collection program and Director of Fiscal Policy Studies Sarah Curry‘s newsletter on state spending growth.

The Wilmington Star-News interviewed Health and Human Services Policy Analyst Katherine Restrepo about gaps in state Medicaid coverage. The Heritage Foundation’s “Insider Online” and N.C. Senate Republicans’ daily press email both took note of JLF’s report on the flaws in Community Care of North Carolina, which deals with most of the state’s Medicaid patients.
