Speaking of constitutional principles, Michael Sanera focused on the importance of limited government in a recent column published in the Durham Herald-Sun. Sanera touted efforts to keep the government out of the private sector. Roy Cordato also has influenced the opinion pages this week, as the Richmond County Daily Journal published his column on sales tax reform. Meanwhile, Legal and Regulatory Policy Analyst Daren Bakst contributed to the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s GlobalWarming.org Web site. Bakst labeled climate change a civil-rights issue. In other news, the Thinker Book Club recently highlighted the essay George Stephens wrote for JohnLocke.org on philosopher John Locke’s biographical highlights. The Liberty Point Web site also took note of a program scheduled for next week in which the John Locke Foundation and Federalist Society will examine the state Libertarian Party’s ballot-access battle against the state.
