New Year’s Day featured interesting insights from JLF Legal and Regulatory Policy Analyst Daren Bakst and Pope Center for Higher Education Policy writer/researcher Jay Schalin. Bakst woke up early to join the WPTF Radio morning show to discuss his recent work on voter identification laws. Readers of the Raleigh News & Observer woke up the same day to find a column from Schalin discussing the work of the UNC Tomorrow Commission.
