NCEA Applauds Choice

In Durham’s Herald-Sun, Director of the North Carolina Education Alliance Lindalyn Kakadelis, addressed the
Durham County Board of Education’s decision to incorporate parental
choice into district assignment policy.  Kakadelis praised the
Board’s decision to nix the competing plan – a reassignment lottery
that left students and parents at the whim of chance.
