The Asheville Citizen-Times interviewed Terry Stoops for an article about the ongoing debate surrounding state funding for public school teachers versus teaching assistants. The N.C. Spin website, NCPoliticalNews.com, and state Senate Republicans’ daily press email all promoted Stoops’ column on paying the state’s teachers a market wage.

The Kernersville News published Vice President for Research and Resident Scholar Roy Cordato‘s column panning a proposed carbon tax. Cordato discussed recent N.C. tax reforms during an appearance on Freedom Action Network’s “What Matters With Chad Adams” radio program.

The Heritage Foundation’s “Insider Online” blog promoted the recent county incentives report from Director of Fiscal Policy Studies Sarah Curry and Research Intern Catherine Konieczny. NCPoliticalNews.com promoted Curry’s research newsletter on the impact for counties of federally controlled land, along with Health and Human Services Policy Analyst Katherine Restrepo‘s newsletter touting the potential benefits of an Uber for health care.
