JLF tackles Obamacare woes, privatized economic recruitment, redistricting, and more

As the nation continues to deal with problems associated with implementation of Obamacare, John Locke Foundation Vice President for Outreach Becki Gray headed to the set of News 14 Carolina’s statewide “Capital Tonight” program this week to discuss the political fallout. President John Hood also appeared this week on “Capital Tonight.” Hood analyzed the proposal to privatize portions of the N.C. Commerce Department’s economic recruitment efforts.

Gray headed to Wilmington twice this week. First, she offered a presentation on the 2013 legislative session for the Wilmington East Rotary Club. Later in the week, Gray participated in a panel discussion on redistricting reform. She continues her twice-weekly politics and public policy updates on WTSB Radio.

The N.C. Family Policy Council airs this weekend its syndicated “Family Matters” radio interview on tax reform with Roy Cordato, Vice President for Research and Resident Scholar. Director of Communications Mitch Kokai discussed the week’s top state government news with Curtis Wright on WMYT Radio.

Carolina Journal Managing Editor Rick Henderson joins Bill LuMaye this afternoon on Talk Radio WPTF to discuss CJ‘s latest articles. Henderson appears this weekend on Curtis Media Group’s “People In Politics” to discuss the latest developments in the legal battle involving former Mecklenburg County Judge Bill Belk.
