In addition to television and radio appearances, John Hood shared with readers of National Review Online’s primary blog, “The Corner,” his analysis of North Carolina’s efforts to rein in bloated unemployment insurance costs. The Winston-Salem Journal interviewed Hood for a pair of articles about recent developments in the state’s unemployment insurance rate. The N.C. Senate Republicans’ daily press email highlighted Hood’s recent columns on unemployment benefits and the problems associated with monopolies.
