A Wilmington Star-News article on the use of targeted tax incentives featured John Locke Foundation President John Hood‘s critique of the practice. N.C. Senate Republicans’ daily press emails cited Hood’s columns on North Carolina’s appearance in a meaningful top-10 list and the Polish economic and educational success story.

Vice President for Outreach Becki Gray previewed the week’s top political and public policy stories during an appearance on WTSB Radio. Director of Communications Mitch Kokai recapped the week’s big events for Curtis Wright on WMYT Radio.

WTVD Television interviewed Kokai about this week’s trials for so-called Moral Monday protesters. The Daily Tar Heel in Chapel Hill quoted Kokai in articles about U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan’s latest approval ratings and a public records request targeting an outspoken University of North Carolina law professor. The N.C. Spin website promoted Kokai’s “Locker Room” blog entry about a plan to fix problems in American health care.

WRAL Television’s report on a brief meeting between JLF Founding Chairman Art Pope and the head of the N.C. NAACP mentioned the John Locke Foundation. Pope also discussed JLF in a recent profile for Duke Magazine.
