JLF Ideas in Print and on the Air

posted on

After releasing his newly published book, Selling the Dream: Why Advertising is Good Business, John Hood was invited to speak on WUNC-FM’s “State of Things.”  Steven Greenhunt in the Orange County Register recently reviewed George Leef‘s
new book, “Free Choice for Workers.”  Aside from applauding Leef’s
meticulous documentation of the Right-to-Work Movement, Greenhunt
praises his defense of freedom in the workforce. And in some exciting
news, John Ham‘s recent Media Mangle was read on air during the Rush Limbaugh Show.  The piece, entitled “Imagine MNF Being Covered Like Iraq,”
parodies a news article on the Indianapolis Colts vie for an undefeated
season.  Limbaugh commented on the story’s ability to capture how
the media spins any positive gains into negative losses.
