JLF chairman’s research attracts national, statewide attention

A Reuters column this week co-authored by Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform referenced John Locke Foundation Chairman John Hood‘s analysis of more than 680 academic studies targeting state government policies that best promote economic growth. Meanwhile, Charlotte Observer readers recently encountered a fascinating piece of Hood’s family history involving a high-profile Charlotte-area murder from 1909. N.C. Senate Republicans promoted in their daily press emails Hood’s columns on North Carolina’s 2016 U.S. Senate race and the mixed education results of designing smaller schools.
