Hood’s analysis attracts state, national attention

Readers of Forbes‘ health-care and entitlement reform blog encountered comments this week from John Locke Foundation President John Hood. The blog quoted Hood on recent national growth in long-term medical care costs. The Detroit News publicized Hood’s commentary on the Occupy Wall Street movement. Closer to home, Hood discussed taxes and other topics during his latest appearance with Chad Adams on the WLTT Radio morning program. The Asheville Citizen-Times quoted Hood in an article about income inequality. The Beaufort Observer cited Hood’s remarks about the likelihood that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney will win the Republican presidential nomination. N.C. Senate Republicans promoted Hood’s columns this week on passenger rail, the flagging North Carolina economy, tax myths, and the importance of freedom.
