Health care in the headlines

posted on

As Congress continues to haggle over health-care reform, John Locke Foundation analysts add their expertise to the debate. Fiscal and Health Care Policy Analyst Joseph Coletti discussed reform proposals during his latest appearance with Don Curtis on the Curtis Media Group’s “For Your Information” radio program. (Coletti also discussed government impediments to economic growth during a radio appearance on the WPTF morning show. The N.C. News Network used segments from that interview for its statewide newscast.) Meanwhile, JLF President John Hood offered the free-market perspective on health-care reform in an article for the latest North Carolina Medical Journal. N.C. Senate Republicans also highlighted in a blast e-mail this week Hood’s latest Daily Journal column on health-care issues. (The GOP also noted Hood’s column panning the state’s new click-through tax.)
