Global Warming, Renewable Energy

posted on

The global warming apostles live amongst us. They direct us.  They limit us. They indoctrinate our children. North Carolina is no exception. Out state, as well as others, have pandered to the extremists, giving them the power to significantly direct environmental legislation. In North Carolina, our renewable energy bill will add about $310 million annually to electric customers’ bills. Forcing utility companies to generate a certain amount of energy through reusable sources not only increases costs, it also is yet another show of regulatory power by the state.  From Andrew N. Kleit’s Electric Choices, a collection of papers on electric power, George Leef points out that regulation will only add to the cost of electricity.
