The N.C. Spin website and NCPoliticalNews.com promoted John Hood’s analysis of North Carolina’s “excellent” new jobs report. N.C. Senate Republicans promoted in their daily press email Hood’s columns on the importance of election advertising and an assessment of 50 years of state economic data.

The Kernersville News published Becki Gray’s column critiquing left-of-center activists who presume to speak authoritatively about so-called women’s issues. The 1918.com website cited Gray as one of “100 People in the Triangle You Should Connect With Today.”  

Donna Martinez discussed falling gas prices, energy issues, and hydraulic fracturing during an appearance with Bill LuMaye on Talk Radio WPTF. Director of Education Outreach Lindalyn Kakadelis discussed the latest meeting of the state’s new academic standards review commission during an appearance with Lockwood Phillips on WTKF’s “Viewpoints Radio.”

CarolinaPlotthound.com and the Senate GOP took note of Carolina Journal Associate Editor Dan Way‘s report on concerns about the way the University of North Carolina Board of Governors is treating board members who want to pursue reforms. NCPoliticalNews.com cited Way’s article on the latest developments in the debate over Medicaid expansion. The N.C. Spin website promoted contributor Jay Schalin‘s “Locker Room” blog entry criticizing a newspaper’s failure to identify a letter writer as a public relations staffer promoting his employer.
