Iowa voters will soon decide which candidates they prefer for the 2008 presidential race. One possibility for the Democrats is former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards, an option JLF president John Hood critiqued for the Des Moines Register. Voting is also on Daren Bakst’s mind. The JLF legal and regulatory policy analyst shared with Fayetteville Observer readers his thoughts about the value of voter identification laws in preventing fraud at the polls.
