Charlotte’s lightly used light rail

The John Locke Foundation has played a key role in scrutinizing claims about supposed benefits from Charlotte’s light-rail line. Now that the LYNX line is approaching its first anniversary, a new JLF report offers the first real assessment of light-rail’s performance in the Queen City. Author David Hartgen, a UNC-Charlotte emeritus professor and JLF adjunct scholar, discussed his findings with the Charlotte Observer, WCNC Television, News 14 Carolina, Tara Servatius at WBT Radio, Rhino Times, Mint Hill Times, and Huntersville Herald.
