By the Numbers Released

posted on

JLF recently released a slew of press releases targeting ten
media regions in the state.  Each release, highlighting relevant
numbers from the Center for Local Innovation‘s By the Numbers: What Government Costs in North Carolina Cities and Counties,
made a splash in the media. The report, drawing from the most recent
data available from government agencies, lists and ranks local tax
burdens by municipality and by county.  John Hood spoke with the Winston-Salem Journal. Chad Adams contributed information to Wilmington’s WWAY, WECT, WPTF-Raleigh, Kenly News, State Government Radio, High Point Enterprise, WBT-radio-Charlotte, Hickory Daily Record, and the Cherokee Scout.
