The investigative work of Paul Chesser and Don Carrington has made its way to Hawaii. A story published on Hawaii Reporter.com explains the details of the Ernst & Young “cash cow” presentation, created to teach businesses how to milk state economic development funds. It credits Carolina Journal for the information, and provides a link to the CJ story. The Hawaii Reporter describes itself as focusing “on being the leading investigative, feisty, take no prisoners newspaper that hires courageous reporters willing to fight mediocrity, laziness and arrogance in journalism to make an impact with their stories on politics, government, education and business.” Sounds a lot like CJ, Chesser and Carrington.
