posted on

Carolina Journal‘s Richard Wagner and Don Carrington, responding to a student sit-in at UNC-CH’s Daily Tar Heel
over the publication of a cartoon depicting the Prophet Muhammad, spoke
briefly with the newspaper’s editors, congratulating them on remaining
steadfast in their resolve to support the freedom of the press.  George Leef and Shannon Blosser, of Pope Center
fame, are assembling a panel for discussion of the First Amendment to
raise awareness of American values, particularly for the benefit of
foreign nationals enrolled in American universities. The panel
discussion will be conducted 7-9 p.m. March 6 at UNC.
