Biography

Julie Havlak is an associate editor for Carolina Journal, joining CJ full-time in July 2019. She worked with CJ in 2018 as a 2018 National Journalism Center intern. Previously, she interned through NJC at the Independent Journal Review. She is a 2019 graduate of Hillsdale College, where she studied English and journalism and wrote for the student paper. In her free time, she likes to read, camp, and read some more.
