Biography

Jimmy Dixon was elected to the North Carolina House of Representatives in 2010 and, in 2017, is serving his fourth term. Dixon is a poultry and vegetable farmer who represents Duplin and Wayne counties. He chairs the House Agriculture Committee, is Vice-Chairman of Appropriations, and serves on numerous other committees as well. Rep. Dixon attended Wake Forest University on a football scholarship. He and his wife, Bobby Jean, have five children and six grandchildren.
