Benjamin C. Waterhouse is Associate Professor of History and Grauer Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a historian of modern American business, politics, and capitalism. He is the author of Lobbying America: The Politics of Business from Nixon to NAFTA (Princeton University Press, 2014) and The Land of Enterprise: A Business History of the United States (Simon & Schuster, 2017). He teaches courses in the history of American business, financial crises, and 20th century politics.
