In this presentation, former North Carolina Attorney General and Secretary of State Rufus Edmisten will share highlights of his recently published memoir, That’s Rufus: A Memoir of Tar Heel Politics, Watergate and Public Life. In addition to his service as a statewide elected official, Edmisten was Deputy Chief Counsel for the Senate Watergate Committee. He personally served the first-ever subpoena of a sitting president by Congress. Join us as he recounts stories from his political life and the lessons we can learn.
