North Carolina Is On a Roll, So Let’s Not Mess Things Up

  July 9, 2018, 12:00 PM-1:00 PM

John Locke Foundation, 200 W. Morgan Street, 2nd Floor, Raleigh, North Carolina 27601

Now that lawmakers have called it a day, come celebrate summer with a juicy tomato sandwich, served up with a tasty side of sassy stories from the legislative short session. Becki Gray will share what went on behind the scenes, the bumps in the road and bullets dodged, the heroes who stood up for freedom, and the red flags that should give us pause as we look ahead. You’ll hear Becki’s analysis of what and who to watch during the interim, why the midterm election matters, what to expect in the 2019 legislative session, and the perfect recipe for continuing the transformation that has made North Carolina a model for other states. Be sure to come hungry. We’ll provide home-grown tomatoes, white bread, and Duke’s mayonnaise.
