NC State University’s a John W. Pope Lecture Series
presents
Randy E. Barnett

Randy Barnett is one of the nation’s leading legal scholars. In this presentation — held at NC State University — he will be discussing his latest book, “Our Republican Constitution: Securing the Liberty and Sovereignty of We the People,” published in 2016.

In this book, Barnett provides a concise history of the long struggle between two fundamentally opposing constitutional traditions, based on two competing notions of the meaning of the opening words of the U.S. Constitution of the United States: “We the People.”

This event is open to the public at no charge, and no registration is required. A reception with the speaker will follow the presentation.
