  June 4, 2018, 12:00 PM-1:00 PM

John Locke Foundation, 200 W. Morgan Street, 2nd Floor, Raleigh, North Carolina 27601

Facebook’s policies and business model have suddenly become a concern for everyone. People are worried about how their data is being shared. Congress is concerned about who knows what, and how much can be accessed. In this presentation, technology expert Bob Chandler will try to break through the hype and technobabble to tell us what is really going on. He will discuss how you can determine what Facebook knows about you, who it is shared with, and how you can control it. Bob will also look at what, if anything, the government should do about this and why Facebook might want the government involved.
