For a number of years we have heard about the advantages and disadvantages of using battery electric cars (or all-electric vehicles) instead of internal combustion vehicles. There are now different tax incentives, proposed regulatory mandates, and executive orders that seek to increase the use of these vehicles. This discussion will present a brief overview of energy and environmental considerations of electric vehicles.
