In this presentation, Dr. Mike Walden will discuss his new book, North Carolina Beyond the Connected Age: The Tar Heel State in 2050.  Where is the Tar Heel state headed, in terms of population, jobs, and the overall economy?  What will be the state’s biggest challenges, and how can they be solved?  Walden brings his experience of studying the state economy for 40 years in a book that will allow us to get a head start on improving our state and its people in coming decades.
